Under the FFS model, clients work with a dedicated project team to execute well-defined scopes of work, often based on existing literature or technology packs. Deliverables, timelines, and payments follow pre-agreed terms, and any change in scope is formally documented through amendments. Clients receive regular progress updates and periodic teleconferences to ensure alignment throughout execution.
The FTE model offers a fully dedicated scientific team working exclusively on the client’s projects. This model supports exploratory and high-complexity programs where limited prior information is available. It provides flexibility to reprioritize projects, modify objectives, or shift focus areas without the need for change orders. FTE collaborations include in-depth literature reviews, dynamic project planning, and weekly project discussions, ensuring seamless integration with the client’s internal R&D pipeline.
